We got the call this afternoon that Mom's procedure will be scheduled for tomorrow at 11:30. It should only take a couple hours and she will be able to come home the same day. We would certainly appreciate an interest in your prayers tomorrow. She's well into this round of chemo, and has been getting pretty tired. The neuropsychologist would like her to start getting more exercise, so I've been trying to work her a little bit more. We're also working on some fine motor skills on her left side to get her stronger on that side. Today she picked up coins and put them in a piggy bank while Dad and I rewired some outlets. Then she took a nap while we filled a hole in the kitchen. It's been really hot and humid here while we're waiting for some thunderstorms. The heat is really hard on Mom. She's been enjoying the air conditioning!

Moving day is tentatively set for Saturday! I'm excited to get some furniture moved in and situated! Hopefully we'll be able to get the upstairs bathroom finished up and that will be the last thing that is essential before I start staying there. Football practice starts August 2nd, so my summer is practically over. It's been a busy couple months with all the home improvements. Hopefully I'll be able to get things organized and have you all over for a housewarming cookout before summer is over!
