Great News Today!!!

Mom had an appointment on Thursday to have another brain scan, providing a better look at the spot that showed up on the MRI. Dr. Torres called Mom this evening to let her know that he got the results from that scan today. The scan showed that there is no indication of cancer, and the area is not growing, making him believe that the spot was only inflammation on the MRI. We will continue with the chemo on the schedule that was already established, beginning again on November 30 and running for 5 days. We're scheduled for another MRI on Wednesday, November 25 followed by another appointment with Dr. Torres. We are thrilled with the results and thank God for his continued watching care over Mom and all the rest of our family. We're so grateful for all of your prayers, thoughts, cards, and continued support.

We're looking forward to the holidays and celebrating Thanksgiving with Uncle Allen, Mary Ann, Larry, Sandra, Hannah, and Jaime as they will be traveling up from Texas next weekend. We'll also get to see Joanna and Shawn next weekend! This year we have just a bit more to be thankful for! Count your many, many blessings and thank God for all he's done!

  • You forgot you got to shop with Justin & I today!!! :)

Even the simplest activities can be fun when we're together. I think that's something that this experience has taught me - every moment you spend with your loved ones is a good one. Make the most of your time together - it doesn't have to be anything extravagant, it can be going to grocery store or going out to eat together. We've definitely done that & I'm so glad. I hope we continue to do so. God has truly blessed our lives. God is good!
